Make the festive season merry and bright with this beautiful and varied programme of Christmas favourites reimagined for saxophone. Jess Gillam, along with her seven-piece band, presents a show packed with Christmas classics and wintry delights – from the soaring beauty of Sakamoto’s Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence and traditional favourites ‘Coventry Carol’ and ‘Silent Night’ to the magic of ‘Carol of the Bells’ and ‘Gaudete’. Jess is a Classic BRIT award-winning saxophonist and BBC presenter, and in this performance she crafts a programme that weaves musical threads from across the centuries, delivering a high-octane and enchanting evening that will leave you ready for the festive season – and beaming from ear to ear!
