Event details

Student-led vocal ensembles Animas, Vox and Zamar join forces for our end-of-year showcase, as we celebrate the conclusion of the academic year. Embark on a vocal adventure and experience a captivating array of music performed with unbounded enthusiasm and enjoyment! The University’s student-run gospel choir, Zamar welcomes all musical abilities and prides itself on being a choir that is all about having fun while singing with other people. They perform music from a range of genres including country, folk, pop, musicals and gospel music. A capella group Vox specialises in singing arrangements of pop songs – with one or two people per part – most of which are arranged by members of the ensemble, both past and present. Open to singers from across the University, Animas aims to maintain a high level of choral performance while facilitating fun, social rehearsals that bring student musicians together. From the Renaissance to the present day, they perform music from across the centuries. We do hope you can join our incredibly talented student musicians for what promises to be an evening of spectacular music-making!
