Homecoming

The British-Singaporean mezzo-soprano Fleur Barron has been hailed as a ‘charismatic star’ by the Boston Globe and a ‘knockout performer’ by The Times. She was awarded the 2022 Schubert Prize and chosen by Amsterdam Concertgebouw as a Rising Star and Featured Artist for their 2022/23 season. For this recital, she joins the Grammy award-winning pianist and Artistic Director of the Ryedale Festival, Christopher Glynn, to perform a collection of songs that speak to her and her heritage in a very personal way.

Pre-recital, 7.00pm: student singers from the University of York. Free to ticket holders.
