A final flourish for The 24 in a programme partly chosen by the singers. With esteemed guests, they investigate the 'lost' music of Peter Pope in solo and choral settings of Donne, Shakespeare and Vaughan. There is joyful Byrd and Weelkes in their 400th-anniversary year, strangely seasonal Poulenc (writing about war as winter) and Walton's energetic and colourful choral cantata to finish the year.
