Award-winning composer and improvising-trombonist Alex Paxton is joined by saxophonist David Zucchi, jazz guitarist Mike De Souza and drummer David Ingamells to perform his critically acclaimed 2021 album, Music for Bosch People, alongside a selection of improvisational-based interludes. The youngest winner at last year’s Ivors Composer Awards, Alex Paxton has had his music performed and recorded by leading orchestras and ensembles, including the London Symphony Orchestra and Nouvel Ensemble Contemporain. He is an artist who traverses musical genres, ‘jamming video game soundtracks, musical overtures, virtuoso chamber music and jazz improv into an unmistakable style’ (Neue Zeitschrift fur Musik). Innovative and flamboyant, this special show promises to be tremendous fun, if not a bit bonkers!

‘In a dark time, this music will make you smile …. This is the most joyous sound I’ve heard in ages!’ (The New York Times)
