This is the second of three recitals marking the 50th anniversary of the Grant, Degens and Bradbeer organ in the Sir Jack Lyons Concert Hall which was opened with three recitals in November 1969.  Fifty years on, it is still regarded as one of the finest recital instruments in the country.

Peter Seymour is University Organist and a professor in the Department of Music.  Richard Blake, an alumnus of the department, is currently principal second trumpet of the CBSO.
